Don’t settle for R-value alone, when you can go for total comfort and save energy at the same time!
The outside of your home’s living space is called the “Building Envelope”. According to the Department of Energy, up to 40% of your home’s energy loss is due to air infiltration through your Building Envelope. The Building Envelope is a system of components designed to be the barrier that protects you from the uncontrolled movement of heat, air and moisture. The same air that is infiltrating your home brings with it outdoor pollutants such as dust, pollen, and mold.
The comfort level and performance of your home can’t be measured by the R-Value of the insulation alone. True comfort and performance is also measured by your home’s ability to control air movement, moisture, air quality, sound and energy efficiency.
Retrofitting your home with Demilec USA’s spray foam insulation gives you a cost effective and lightweight air sealant and insulation, which helps control air movement, heat flow and moisture infiltration all in one step. Our spray foam products provide reliable R-Values under the most extreme conditions, protecting your home from heat loss or gain.
Sound Attenuation
Most outdoor noise pollution is carried into your home through air leaks in the building envelope. Spray foam seals these leaks, thus preventing the sound traveling by air from coming through them.
As you can see, Demilec USA’s spray foam doesn’t just help to slash your energy bills. It provides many more benefits and reasons why you should retrofit your home with Demilec Spray Foam and start saving today.

Cellulose
Insulate Your House and Preserve Your Planet
Cellulose Insulation resists moisture, reduces noise, and preserves natural resources.
Protect your home from moisture buildup
Cellulose Insulation fibers have a natural ability to handle moisture. Moisture vapor in the air is absorbed and released depending upon the relative humidity of the surrounding air.
Protect your home's peace and quiet
Cellulose Insulation has a Noise Reduction Coefficient of 0.90 (90% of sound energy absorbed). It is so effective at keeping outside noises out, that it is used as an enhanced sound control material for homes located in airport flight paths!
Protect your home planet
Cellulose Insulation is a non-toxic natural product made from 85% recycled paper fiber, reducing landfill waste. Each 40 sq. ft. bag contains the equivalent of about 46 Sunday newspapers. It is processed by electrically-driven mills that consume relatively little energy when operating, and which can be shut down completely at the end of the production day. This lowers energy consumption, allowing GreenFiber to manufacture to meet customer demand.
Dry Loose-Fill
Wet-Spray
Spray-in cellulose:
Often referred to as wet-spray or wet-cell cellulose insulation, this is used for new home construction or attic insulation projects. The newspaper nodules are mixed with a bonding agent and then sprayed into the cavities to fill the space. The wet consistency causes the insulation to stick to the surfaces, so it works great for even vertical wall cavities. It is often over-filled and then shaved down to size.
Dry, loose-fill cellulose:
This method is generally used to retrofit older homes. It is used by spraying into the attic and can be installed in the wall by drilling a hole into the top of a wall and then blowing the loose-fill cellulose into the spaces.
